Email contact@thelords.app with anything at all — a bug, a question, a correction, or an idea for the app. There's no ticket system and no form to fill in. A person reads every message.

01I can't find a peer

Peers are listed under their title rather than their family name, so searching for "Smith" may not find Baroness Smith of Basildon. Try the title, or browse the full list and filter by party or group instead.

Membership is also changing following the House of Lords (Hereditary Peers) Act 2025. If someone has recently left the House, they will no longer appear.

02Searching by subject isn't finding who I expected

Subject search works from the policy interests peers register with Parliament, using Parliament's own terms. Those terms aren't always the ones you'd type — "end of life" is registered as palliative care, for instance. The app tries to bridge the gap and shows you which term it matched.

A peer who works on a subject but hasn't registered it won't appear in that search. If you spot a gap that looks wrong, tell us — it helps improve the matching.

03Something looks out of date or wrong

Everything in the app comes from Parliament's published record and updates as Parliament publishes it. Records are sometimes corrected after publication, and Parliament's own services occasionally lag.

If you think the app is displaying something incorrectly, email us. The source is Parliament's record, but we will check what the app is showing against it and fix any display error.

If you're a member of the House of Lords

Or acting on behalf of one — please get in touch directly at contact@thelords.app and we will respond promptly.

04I bought The Lords+ and it isn't showing

The Lords+ is a one-off purchase tied to your Apple Account, so it works across your devices. On a new device, open Settings in the app and tap Restore Purchase.

Refunds are handled by Apple rather than by us. Request one through reportaproblem.apple.com.

05The app won't load anything

The app shows live information from Parliament, so it needs a network connection to refresh. Content you've already viewed stays available offline.

If nothing loads at all while you're online, Parliament's data services may be temporarily down. Try again shortly, and let us know if it persists.

06Privacy

The app has no account, collects nothing about you, and uses no analytics or tracking. The full detail is in the privacy policy.

07Accessibility

The app supports Dynamic Type, VoiceOver and Reduce Motion. If something doesn't work properly with an accessibility feature you rely on, please tell us — it will be prioritised.
